Wouldn’t it be amazing if God would send down a personal blueprint for each of our lives? A manual outlines what we should do to follow His plan for our lives.
Sometimes, life can be so stressful and confusing that it can be challenging to understand the sounds of all the obligations weighing on us and what God wants for us over the world’s noise. And the truth is God controls our plans and knows what He wants for us. He has the personal blueprint for our lives drawn up, guiding all of us and putting seeds in our hearts. God waters the seeds He plants within our hearts like a gardener. God hears you, sees you, and answers your prayers.
This life can be challenging, but the Lord makes us stronger through trials. During times of tribulation, our faith can multiply and grow. Romans 5:3-5, it shows us that suffering produces character and perseverance, which leads to hope that allows God to pour into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.
. While there is pressure from society to meet a different standard than the world holds us to and succeed, we can achieve what He wants for our lives through God and the calling He places on our lives.
Following are God’s plan for our lives:
1. Be in prayer. A means to know that you are following God’s plan for your life is through praying and worship. Take time daily to devote yourself to the Lord and His plans. If you give each area of your life to God, He will bless it and be able to work through it abundantly. Let this be clear to you; no “magic prayer” can keep you from making the wrong decision. To clarify, this helps you when facing a decision, and your desires prevent you from thinking clearly or even caring if what you want is in God’s plan for you.
2. Be actively reading in the Word. It is one thing to attend church on Sunday and listen to the pastor’s sermon and another when you take time daily to devote yourself to being in the Word of God. Taking just a few minutes daily to read what’s in the Scripture will give you a better understanding of the calling the Lord has put on you and allow you to live out the life better He desires for you.
3. Follow the commands God puts on your heart. Let God guide your steps, and trust the dreams He puts in your heart. Believe that God will qualify you. Understand that if there is a dream that He has placed upon your heart, He will help you attain it, and He will be glorified in the end.
4. Pay attention to how God has wired you. God has created you to fulfill a distinct role in this world. No one else can ultimately achieve what God has purposely designed you to do. The Apostle Peter gives us this warning: 1 Peter 4:10 – God has gifted every one of us to perform a special mission for which we alone were created.
5. Seek a Godly community. It’s simple to follow Lord’s plans and behave in ways that honor the Lord when you have people around you who encourage you in your walk with the Lord. Search out a community at church that will hold you responsible and be able to give you Godly counsel.
